Freezer Meal Suggestions

Hey all - In getting ready for Natalie's birth, I want to stock up my freezer with pre-made dinners that Jeff can easily thaw, heat and serve.  I've got a couple of ideas, but would love to have a couple weeks worth of meals made up.

Any suggestions and/or recipes would be greatly appreciated.  High protien preferred, but I'll need to have complex carbs included as well.

What I have in mind already:

Chicken Spaghetti
Meatloaf
Navy bean & Ham soup

My plan is to do major cooking over the next couple of weeks and start stocking up the freezer, so anything you can suggest would be great!

Thanks!

Debbi

Here are some suggestions off the top of my head that I freeze and thaw out alot.   Spaghetti sauce ( then all you have to do is make spaghetti ), pot roast,  brisket,  rotiseree chickens ( freeze those all the time ), & lasagna.   I am kind of brain dead this AM....got up way too early.   Hubby's truck had problems and I had to take him to work.  UGH.....I am so excited for you and Jeff.    Natalie's is one lucky little baby girl to have you both as her parents.

Hugs and blessings !!!  Vivian

`Chili- make a big pot of it and sort it. Use one baggie for baked potatoes, two for a dinner, one for nachos, etc
`tortilla soup
`bbq chicken
`teriyaki chicken
`roast w/ veggies
`shephard's pie
`fajita meat w veggies
`lasagna
`beef w/ rice
`mexican cornbread casserole (where you layer ground beef with cornbread, cheese, etc)
`my latest is watermeoln chicken- 1 cup watrmelon juice, 12oz apple jelly, 1 tblsp salsa, salt/pepper to taste- cook chicken pieces, add watermelon glaze- cook till done, freeze  serve over egg noodles. ( I dont even like watermelon but this is really good)

LOL....I have never like watermelon but it is VERY good. It tastes a lot like Orange Chicken from Panda Express- but without it being deep fried.

Now the ice cream cravings.....  I'll own up to them!
